DIY: Banana Boat
I'm going to teach you how to make a banana boat. For camping or any occasion. It's super easy and delicious!
 
You need:
- One banana
- Bag of chocolate chips
- Bag of mini marshmallows
- Aluminum foil
 
Directions:
 
1. First, slice the banana with the peel longways.
 
2. Then, Put in your choice of the amount of chocolate chips.
 
3. Do the same with the marshmallows.
 
4. Wrap with aluminum foil, and place on the fire pit. Wait around five minutes.
 
5. Yum! Take it off (of coarse don't burn yourself) and eat! Hope you enjoy!

Some of you have probably heard of this but for those of you who haven't, it is an app that has really cute icons for apps that you can put on your home screen.
 
It does not replace the old app icons so you do NOT want to delete them, but I just put them all in a few folders on the last page of my home screen so the ones that I use a lot look "pretty" if you will ;)
 
There is a tutorial on the app and plenty more out there for you to learn how to use it so I won't really get into that but it is very simple to use and makes your home screen look really cute! It also has wallpapers and you can even make your own icons to share with the world :)

This is another one of my favorite apps to make your cutify your device. It has really really cute wallpapers. They are all very colorful and bright and I like them a lot. The app does cost 99 cents but it's worth it.

Curing writer's block
So here's a set for all you writers out there who have had trouble writing or might get a block in the future. So lets get started! :D
 
*Dictionary
 
Have you ever been at a point in your life where your looking for a sign or a meaning in something do you flip to a random page in a book and see if it means anything to you? Haha maybe I'm just weird like that, but you can do this with a dictionary. Just flip to a random page in the dictionary and choose a topic. Then just write! Write a short story about whatever you choose and this might get your creative juices flowing and this could lead you to a new story idea!
 
* Take a break
 
Sometimes you just gotta take a step back from what you are doing. Take a walk, watch a movie or just do something else. When your not looking for something thats when they just happen to appear.
 
* Combine your other pieces
 
Try combining two of your previous stories and if you are just starting out writing or don't want to use your own work try this with two or more stories that you've read. This will help you to get a lot more ideas and open up your mind to new possibilities.
 
* Copy
 
Now I'm not saying to plagiarize or anything like that but sometimes you are just stuck in the thinking process too long and what you really need to do it just write. So find some random article or writing and just rewrite it. I know it sounds kinda stupid but it might work for you.
 
* Dream Journal
 
Try keeping a dream journal for a few days or longer if you'd like but just write down the dreams that you had the night before. Then read through them and see if any little bits or pieces of your dream could make for a good story.
 
* Voice
 
Experiment with a few different styles of writing. Try making your writing more descriptive or poetic or less descriptive. Try out a few different ways to say things and then find which one represents best what you are trying to say.
 
* TV and Songs
 
When I hear really cool song lyrics or some random witty comment that I heard someone say on TV I write it down. If you try this your mind just might start connecting different thoughts together and lead you to new ideas.
 
* Thinking
 
Okay so this one is kinda weird but pretty fun. Try thinking as if you are writing what you are thinking and doing. For example mine right now would be, "Her fingers carefully typed the tip, as she glanced up and down. From the screen to the keyboard, like an endless game of chase." Just give it a try you might like it! Then certain phrases or styles might lead you to what to write next.
 
* Comparison
 
Don't compare yourself to other writers! This can make you not want to write! Okay so there probably is someone better at writing than many of us will ever be. So what are we gonna do just give up and never pick up a pen again? No! You must always strive to be the best you can be! Who cares if it doesn't make everyone happy? Do what makes YOU happy!

Hey darlinks! Here is a set on how to get out there! Although I doubt most of you need it, you social butterflies ;) Anyways here it goes!
 
O1. Talking
Okay so this one is pretty easy but very hard at the same time. It is easy to find yourself in situations where you cant always find friends around you or you want to make friends with someone new. So people say, just start up a conversation, which is a lot harder than it sounds for some. You either have trouble thinking of what to say or how the person will look at you or think of you. Well, talking to them is not as scary as you think. Just go through some good topics to talk about in your head, maybe make them laugh. I know I have a friend for sure when I can laugh a lot around someone. You can talk about things that you know the person is interested in or just ask them how they are or how their day has gone.
 
O2. Intimidating
Now when I say intimidating I don't mean that you are scared that this person is going to take you out in a fight or anything. What I mean is that maybe there is a person that is fairly popular and good at talking to people so around them you feel like you don't compare and so you don't talk or socialize at all. It may be hard to act yourself around these people or blossom out of your quiet cocoon. Let me assure you something, this will always be a problem so don't let it get to you! If you let it happen now then it could be a problem for the rest of your life! It won't get better until you make it better, so just be yourself and maybe complement this person or people on what they are wearing or something they did. It will be much appreciated and may make you more confident in yourself.
 
O3. Friends
This one is pretty obvious and I doubt it is that much of a problem but your friends. Make sure that you can truly be yourself around them and that you can confide in them and trust them. Its good to have maybe a few really close friends and a lot of others! You want to be sure that you accept them and they accept you. This will free you to talk about anything thats on your mind or do whatever you want to do.
 
O4. Appearance
Your looks aren't all of you! You have a lot more to offer to the world than a pretty face! I know that its whats on the inside that counts. And so I know this might sound contradicting but dress nice! Not nice by the latest fashion standards but nice to you! Dress in whatever makes you feel your best! If you are confident in the way that you present yourself then others will see that beautiful confidence radiating off of you and that will attract them. Confidence is a very attractive thing ;)

Have you ever wanted your hair to be lighter but you never have the time, money or the damage and consequences that come with dying? Well here's your solution! Lemon juice! It's an easy natural way to lighten your hair.
 
You will need:
1 cup of lemon juice
1/4 cup of water
sunlight
spray bottle
conditioner (optional)
 
So what you want to do is mix the water and lemon juice together and put it in your spray bottle. The spray bottle is not necessary but it works a little better than just dumping the mixture on your head. So once its in the spray bottle you can add conditioner. You might want to do this if you have dry hair or you don't want it to dry in the process, which you probably don't . So just put in a few squeezes of conditioner. Next, you are going to spray the mixture in your freshly washed hair. It doesn't matter if its wet or dry. Then you can get a book or some music and sit outside for 45 minutes to an hour. The sun works its magic and starts to lighten your hair. You can also multitask like I do and do this while you tan. Keep in mind, the results will not be very noticeable at first. You might have to wait a few days and repeat the process a few times. This works on blondes or brunettes. Hope you have a great summer and look your best!

All of us ladies out there know that when summer comes around, it's nice to have a little golden color on our skin. If you haven't already started to tan, it's not too late! Here are a few tips that will make you enjoy the summer with a bronzy glow.
 
☀Prior to tanning☀
 
Exfoliate your skin: This will get rid of all the dead skin cells you have, leaving a fresh layer of healthy skin cells to tan.
 
Shave: If you need to shave, do it before you tan. It will leave your skin fresh and smooth. It is preferred to wait a few hours after shaving to tan so the skin has some time to recover.
 
Apply Sunscreen!!!
This step is very important!!! Please, guys, please please please put sun screen on unless you want sunburns or skin cancer. Some of you may have heard that if you burn and put a lot of lotion on it will turn into a tan and this may be the case at first, but too much of this will cause premature skin damage, leading to wrinkles! I don't know about you guys, but leathery skin is not very attractive in my opinion.
 
Work out or exercise
Exercising before tanning gets the blood circulating and will help the skin produce melanin faster.
 
☀Tanning ☀
 
I'm not a big believer in tanning beds because of the higher risk of skin cancer, so I usually just tan outside.
 
Don't stay outside too long!
If you are just starting to tan, do not spend hours in the sun! You will burn and that is not what we want. Start with like 2 sessions of 15 minutes a day and build up from there.
 
☀Don't put baby oil on your skin! ☀
This speeds up the tanning process but also is very damaging to your skin.
 
☀Choose an appropriate time to tan ☀
If you are pale and tend to burn very easily I probably wouldn't go out when the sun is at its maximum strength, at least not for long periods of time.
 
I hope I helped you guys! If you have any other ideas feel free to comment! You may not see results after the first day but be patient! Eventually you will get a tan, and it will be the healthy way.
